PAINT the PARKS
The idea of Paint the Parks is to visit protected park lands and paint them. Artists donate 10% from the sale of these park paintings to the respective non-profit Park Association or Park Foundation. The Park Foundations or Associations are the non-profit partners of the government run parks. Donations support the preservation of parks, through conservation and
education efforts for the National Park Foundation or the National Parks Conservation Association. Click on the Paint the Parks lettering above for the Paint the Parks website. Click on any of the pictures below to be taken to my Fine Art America site where you will have many choices.

El Capitan is a traditional BATIK on SILK. The original is a bit different than this image as it is tall a narrow. I have modified this piece digitally into different sizes and proportions. A favorite of the artist's in the smaller silk print within a gilded frame. Click

Vernal Falls is a powerful waterfall that has a fantastic MIST TRAIL and some 625 stone steps to reach the top of the falls. Once there, EMERALD POOL is directly above and then on to NEVADA FALLS. These waterfalls are all along the trail to HALF DOME. This depiction has been digitally mastered from the original which is no longer available.
